Flares is a collective founded by Silvia Boccardi and Silvia Lazzaris that brings together journalists, media, and investigative journalism networks in a commitment to radical collaboration.

Stalking through spy apps, called stalkerware, is increasing globally due to new digital tools. The Russian cybersecurity company Kaspersky is the only group trying to measure this issue. However, the data they have shows only a small part of the problem, which is actually much larger and harder to monitor.

For this particular project, we made the creative decision to set the entire video inside a vibrant computer environment, envisioning it as though all the various graphics and elements were being experienced from a captivating first-person perspective. This approach allows for a more immersive experience for the viewer.
